Create your activities
The classes you teach, before you schedule them.
An activity describes a class: what it is, who it is for, and a picture. A single activity can be scheduled many times, in different semesters, at different locations, with different instructors.
- 1Open Activities and choose Create Activity
- 2Name itFor example "Intro to Watercolor".
- 3Choose a category and write the descriptionThe description is what parents read on your storefront, so say what students will make or learn.
- 4Set the Min Age and Max AgeYour storefront filters (Kids, Adults, Camps) use these. A top age of 12 or under counts as Kids; 13 and up counts as Adults.
- 5Add an image (optional) and any staff-only notesStaff notes are never shown to parents.

Example
- Name: Watercolor Basics
- Category: Painting
- Ages: 8 to 13
- Description: Eight weeks of color mixing, brush technique and a finished landscape to take home.
An activity does nothing until you schedule it into a semester or a camp. Creating the activity first just gives you something to pick.
